The art critic, Philippe Daverio sued for libel David Pharaoh, leader of the Democratic Party to the City of Palermo, for a "post" wrote ; exponent democratic Rosalio , July 6, 2010, in which he spoke of "gang culture in Palermo," referring to the management of events, in particular the Garibaldi day of May 2010 and the Feast of July 2010, while he was a Davenport as cultural adviser of the mayor Cammarata.
"I am calm and happy - says Pharaoh - because this lawsuit puts at the center 'cultural issue' to Palermo in the years characterized by many abnormalities, bankruptcy events, waste of resources to the detriment of the citizens of Palermo and daily mortification of the whole artistic reality and cultural center is not aligned with the Government and covered Cammarata.
"I hope - he concludes - that this initiative of Davenport, might be the way to the judiciary to investigate everything that has long claimed."
