m'è finally got the disc of the band corresponding to the "T" of the "WET", the Swedish rockers Talisman. Sorry for the wait and in with the band's history and review of this little masterpiece corresponding to the name of "Humanimal! The Talisman born in the mid-80s to the will of bassist Marcel Jacob, who has worked with artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum.

), the damage Talsiman in 1990 to press their self-titled debut, thanks to songs like "Break Your Chains "and" I'll Be Waiting ", the band begins to make a name, and although the album is great, not yet in sight for an original sound and precise. In the following, "Genesis" instead of 1993 is starting to refine the winning group, but will explode in all their power until the next "Humanimal. You may have noticed that "part 1 & 2" in the title of the review: The album for the Japanese market was restructured and some pieces in the original were replaced with songs originally discarded (the Talisman mixarono and recorded as many as 22 songs in 22 days!). Then, over the main album, was brought out of the "Part 2" contains extra songs in the Japanese market and, more recently, the album was reissued on two discs that contain both sides. We said the turning point in the sound: leaving behind echoes sometimes pompously malmsteeniani, the Talisman offer us a fresh hard rock, sparkling, some funk and melody of sure grip with the perfect chorus. 
In opening the disc we find a fabulous "3233 + Colour My XTC" (where "XTC" stands for "Ecstasy" if you read the letters with the English pronunciation) with its lovely arpeggio which soon results in a funk 'n' roll of the highest quality. "Fabricated War" is much more oriented towards classic rock, but no less successful, rich as it is adrenaline-charged. Groove in spades with "Tainted Pages" features that allow more reasoned pace to capture all the nuances of a sparkling piece and at the same time, in a sense, darker.
"Reality TV" crowds out since the start and after the introduction of peculiar bursts in all its power. For comparison, remember a few pieces of Living Colour (do not know who I am?! Shame spun to buy their first three album!).
"Seasons" is a mix of emotions surrounded by a riff fabricated to mature. And 'time with the ballad "All + All" obviously very sweet and full in the canons of the genre rock ballad. Soto applaud the very vocal and articulate and never granted. plunge back to lead us in listening to more sexual funk "DOAPS, and explosive charge as a spring in his solo simple and straightforward. If
in Talisman is also a bit 'of malice, it sure is fully represented by "Blissful Garden", dark and compelling, and one of the most original episodes of the disc.
"Lonely World" bursts at full speed, giving a good example of a balanced mix between fast rock, AOR and funk. Exciting. With
"Delusion Of Grandeur" we are on very high levels that reveal in full the incredible compositional skills and inventiveness of the band.
"Since You've Gone" is obviously the second ballad, acoustic, sadder and much more successful "All + All".
"Humanimal" is coming soon (but really just now) think of the Scorpions. And, heck, not a bad thing! The piece is super charged and definitely a success. In
end of the first CD, complete change in gender with the following "Doin 'Time Wit' My Baby", a classic ballad, rockabilly fun and, as part of the disc, refreshing.
The second part opens with the hard driving rock of 'Animal Ritual ", the more' standard 'than heard so far, but also among the most successful piece.

With "Dear God" we turn to God in a simple and compelling, then move on to "Hypocrite," pure adrenaline and another center of this fantastic album.
"R" Wasting Time "is not a simple song, it's class. Point. And less evil that had rejected the album! Other title
ending with "To Know Someone Deeply Is To Know Someone Softly", ballad unusual (and definitely not perfect) from feeling vaguely ethnic.
It closes with the much lighter than pleasant "Y Todo Todo".
In 1996, after a troubled gestation due to problems of mixing and labels, Talisman publish the valuable "Life" album followed by a pause of three years in which each member has pursued his musical interests and not. In this period, Talisman did not support the album with a tour, except by opening some shows for Malmsteen.
In 1998, he sees the light "Truth", which contains several cover ("Darling Nikki" by Prince
"Let Me Entertain You" by Queen and "Frozen" by Madonna, who achieved much success in the German club. Mah) a frame of another good record. Still no tour support. After several
mess that I am not telling the Talisman publish the excellent "Cats And Dogs" in 2003 and their last album, "7" in 2006.
To date, the band broke up and 90% chance of reunion seem cut short after the suicide of forty-five Marcel Jacob (July 21, 2009), plagued by personal problems and health. Suicide
that is in addition to the long list of famous deaths and suicides that occurred in the rock world in the last two years (remember all between Kevin Dubrow, lead singer of Quiet Riot died of a drug overdose, and Pepsi Tate of Tigertailz bass player died of cancer of the pancreas).
The only thing that can console is that life is fleeting, while the music is eternal. And fortunately, these artists have left us much good music.
